Safety is a very important thing. So heres a page on saftey...

The 3 Key safety issues in a workshop are:

Firstly lets remember Norm's speech -

"Be sure to read, understand, and follow all the safety rules that come with your tools - knowing how to use your powertools properly will greatly reduce the risk of personal injury - and remember this there is no more important safety rule that to were these safety glasses"

This is a great statement and totally agree (Start with the goggles)

EYE PROTECTION !

The days of horrible, big un comfy goggles has gone. Plano have released a new range of cool wraparound safety glasses - SO THERES NO EXCUSE ! Get some !! They are available here

DUST MASKS !

This guy does look like a fly. But at least he is a clever fly !

DUST CAN KILL ! - Sorry to alarm you like that, but even if you have dust extraction you should still wear one - especially when sanding. There are many types on the market and if your doing sanding you should wear one stamped P2 or P3. Get them here

EAR DEFENDERS !

What did you just say ?

These are one of the items that are more for comfort - though loud machines can damage your hearing. But still they should be worn, I find that you can concentrate more, which is important when working with the powerful stuff !

TOOLS
